Who I am and my philosophy...

I am a yoga teacher, a sex educator and a clinical sexologist in training. With a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology from Columbia University’s Spirit, Mind and Body Institute, I am oriented around yogic philosophy and Jungian analytical psychology. My passion is helping others rediscover themselves through the body.

“Inviting our thoughts and feelings into awareness allows us to learn from them rather than be driven by them.”

Daniel J. Siegel, MD Mindsight: The New Science of Personal Transformation

Everything I teach, practice, speak and write about, comes from direct experience; I share my stories and my path that you might find your own path to yourself and your truths.

My story is both unique

and not unique.

Yoga Teacher

I refer frequently to the works of Carl Gustave Jung, the Swiss psychiatrist, analyst and one of the founding fathers of depth psychology. Jung built upon the theories of  his mentor, Freud, to bring us a model to understand deeply the connection between the body and our conscious and unconscious attitudes and desires. I build my work upon his theories to help my clients and students work with their psyches through soma (body) and through spirit.

No teacher, no therapist, no coach can tell you who you are, nor can awaken your true self, we can only guide you.

I hope you may recognize parts of yourself in the stories and lessons of my long, meandering path of seeking, but know that you are only seeking yourself.

If I may play any role in helping you in that direction, it would be my pleasure.
